Sulle connessioni d'ordine due secondo E. Bompiani

Summary Bompiani's ? second order connections ? (2]), which appear to reenter among the ones considered by Ehresmann, are shown to give rise (in a special case) to the same operation of parallel displacement for the second order tangent vectors Bompiani had formulated in a former memory (1]). An invariant definition of this connection is given.
