Abstract:Poly(p\|phenylene vinylene)(PPV)and its derivatives have special optoelectronics properties and have aroused great interest in the world as excellent electroluminescent materials up to now.In this paper,a series of soluble PPV derivatives were synthesized by dehydrochlorination reaction with p\|methoxy phenol as raw materials.The results showed that attaching the longer alkoxy\|substitutes in benzene ring or applying copolymerization could improve the solubility of PPV derivatives and DMSO as a strong polar solvent could increase the yield of polymer.The structure of polymer was indentified by UV/Vis\,IR and \+\{1\}H\|NMR.\=
