| Abstract: | Summary. The one-pot reaction of β-glycosyl amino acids with β-ketoesters in the presence of Amberlite IR-120 resin and 4 ? molecular
sieve in refluxing toluene resulted in the respective dihydropyridones in fair to good yields.
