| Abstract: | The reaction of 5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoline-2(3H)-thiones with alkyl haloacetates has been studied. It was shown that the reaction proceeds to give S-substituted products. The effect of the nature of the substituents in the molecules of both the thiones and the haloacetates on the reaction route and yields has been examined. |
