Refraction of extraordinary rays and ordinary rays in the Savart polariscope |

| Abstract: | The refraction of rays in the Savart polariscope is different fromthe isotropic medium. We have analysed and discussed the refractionof rays in the Savart polariscope on the basis of the Snell law. Therefraction formulae of the extraordinary rays and ordinary rays werederived. Results obtained may provide theoretical and practicalguide lines for studying, developing and engineering of polarizationinterference imaging spectrometer. |
