Abstract:
The influence of mechanical stresses and electric and magnetic fields is theoretically investigated on the ground state and the characteristics of linear and nonlinear magnetoelastic waves in a tetragonal antiferromagnet. Magnetic phase diagrams are constructed and the parameters of quasi-acoustic solitons and the region of their stability are determined.
