Abstract:Various preparative factors such as precipitation method, operational temperature, pH value and Co/Al molar ratio, which affect the purity and crystal form of CoAl hydrotalcitelike compound were studied. The results of product characterization by XRD and FTIR methods show that low supersaturation coprecipitation at constant pH, which handling at 6070, pH ranging from 8 to 115 and Co/Al molar ratio ranging from 2 to 35, give rise to high purity and better crystal form of CoAl hydrotalcitelike compounds.
