| Abstract: | The formation time of the Chinese characters influences its status in the world writing history. The author elaborates on the formation time of the Chinese characters through the following aspects ： the archaeology discovery, the ancient book records, the Chinese character configuration as well as the time characteristic. And it concluded that the Chinese characters probably formed in the middle and later period of the primitive hunting and fishing time. |
