The optical rotatory dispersion of transition metal complexes |

| Abstract: | Using a simple, first order molecular orbital theory the rotatory dispersion is estimated for inorganic complexes which are essentially octahedral. The results restituate the conclusions reached by Moffitt in 1956. |
