| Abstract: | The influence of irradiation on a set of physical (absorbing, luminescent, paramagnetic, and structural) properties of quartz crystals is studied. The nonmonotonic kinetics of changes in the optical and x-ray parameters of the crystal in the region of radiation-stimulated phase transition is established. The possible mechanism of radiation-induced reorganization of the crystal structure is discussed. |
