| Abstract: | A theory basis for the free-interface component mode synthesis by means of the spectrum shift technique is presented in this paper, It demonstrates that the technique may be employed in the component level to reduce the calculation of the residual attachment modes and achieve great accuracy, provided the shift value is properly selected. Results of two examples versfied the derived conclusion. |
