Discontinuous Galerkin relaxation algorithm for solute transport in porous media

We consider a degenerate parabolic convection dominated equation which models the transport of contaminant in porous media. The numerical scheme is fulfilled by combining the DG – Discontinuous Galerkin Method with and an efficient relaxation algorithm that recently developed.
