| Abstract: | A new, simple method to obtain ultrathin polycationic monolayers on hydroxylated surfaces is described which uses a bifunctional copolymer comprising a reactive part (trimethoxysilane) and positive charges (quaternary ammonium salts) to confer antimicrobial properties. |
