Abstract: | A general approach to the computation of instanton effects without invoking an ad hoc cut-off on their size is illustrated here by the computation of instanton contributions to the static Q potential and vacuum polarization. Our results suggest that the instanton effects are much smaller than perturbative effects in the region where both may be reliably computed. |
