Abstract: | The reaction of polyfluorovinyl halides RCF=CFX (R =t-C4F9, X = F, CI, or Br; R = Ph, X = F, Cl) with the CpFe(CO)2]– anion has been studied by cyclic voltammetry and preparative-scale electrolysis. The electrochemical activation of vinyl halides made it possible to obtain the products of nucleophilic substitution for all substrates investigated independently of their configuration and the nature of the halogen.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk.
