| Abstract: | Preliminary studies in this laboratory' of topochemical and topotactic polyreactions of NiBr2P(CH2CH2CN)3]2 have shown that the reactions are in many cases characterized by a) product specificity, b) stereospecificity, c) “crystallographic specificity” and d) highly anisotropic “front motion” through individual single crystals.
