Abstract: | A method based on the utilization of continuous space-filling curves is applied to a two-dimensional elastic scattering problem involving a central Yukawa potential. The Lippmann-Schwinger equation is brought into the form of a one-dimensional inhomogeneous integral equation and solved numerically. The results agree to within about 5 per cent with those obtained by a recent direct numerical solution based on two-dimensional quadratures. |
