| Abstract: | A number of 5-aminomethylfurfuryl alcohols were synthesized by the Mannich reaction from furfuryl alcohol, secondary amines, and paraformaldehyde. The corresponding vinyl ethers were obtained by reaction of these alcohols with acetylene.
