Abstract:Reaction of C60 with poly (styrene-co-allylamine)was studied by GPC, FT-IR and TGA methods.GPC traces demonstrated that the M.of reaction product increased and exhibited a broader molecular weight distribution.The strong new bands at 1200cm-1 appeared in FT-IR spectrum of the product indicated that the covalently C'0--bound copolymer was formed. TGA analysis showed that fullerene-functionalized polymer was a homogeneous system which increased the thermosteadiness of copolymer.
