| Abstract: | Dialkylaminodimethylchlorosilanes react with sodium amide mainly to dialkylamino-dimethylsilyl-amines, besides to the free dialkylamine and cyclo- and polysilazanes. Bis(alkylamino)-dimethylsilanes can be isolated from the reaction of alkylaminodimethylchlorosilanes with NaNH2. Dialkylaminodimethylsilanes are formed likewise in the reaction of alkylaminophenoxydimethylsilanes with NaNH2. The analogous reaction of alkylaminophenoxydimethylsilanes leads on the other hand to 1,3-bis(alkylamino)-tetramethyldisilazanes. |
