Kohärenzeffekte in Doppelschichten aus verschiedenen Supraleitern

Films of lead are deposited on a superconducting substrate. The transition temperatureT _c of this sandwich is measured as a function of the lead thicknessD _Pb . In different experiments the properties (thickness, transition temperature, mean free path of electrons) of the substrate are varied. It is especially interesting that the initial slope (small lead thickness) of theT _c (D _Pb )-curve is independent of the electronic mean free path of the superconducting substrate and inversely proportional to its thickness. The results for different thicknesses of the components in the system indium — lead can be well described by a theory ofdeGennes andWerthamer.
