| Abstract: | A facile and practical synthesis of 3,5-disubstituted isoxazoles via a silver-catalyzed cyclization and subsequent protonation of alkynyl oxime ethers has been developed. The methodology was successfully applied to the synthesis of a biologically active isoxazolecarboxylic acid. |
