Abstract: | Both Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance and ICR time-of-flight mass spectroscopy have been applied to precision atomic mass measurements. This paper reviews the status of these approaches and compares their limitations.Pacific Northwest Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy by the Battelle Memorial Institute under contract DE-AC06-76RLO 1830. |
