| Abstract: | The new compounds IO2PO2F2 and IO3PO2F2 have been prepared by the reaction of iodic and periodic acids on F2OPOPOF2. Raman spectra show a dimeric structure for IO3+ ion but a monomeric structure for IO2+ ion. |
