Synthesis of 2-substituted 1-tosyl-3-(1-tosyliminoalkyl)imidazolidines and-hexahydropyrimidines

Abstract:	Reactions of N-tosylimidoyl chlorides with the Schiff bases of the general formula TsNH(CH₂)_nN=CHR (n = 2 or 3; R = Prⁱ, 4-MeOC₆H₄, 4-Me₂NC₆H₄, and 3-O₂NC₆H₄) afforded 2-substituted 1-tosyl-3-(1-tosyliminoalkyl)imidazolidines (n = 2) or-hexahydropyrimidines (n = 3).
