| Abstract: | Efficient hydrogen peroxide enhanced iodofunctionalisation of ketones, 1,3-dicarbonyl derivatives and activated aromatic molecules using elemental iodine in water is achieved, whereas alkynes were stereoselectively converted into (E)-1,2-diiodoalkenes. |
