Abstract:The operation process of a pulsed laser power supply which uses Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor(IGBT) as a switching element is described with mathmatical method.A new desjgn model is proposed for the high power Pulsed laser power supply.Based on the model four power supplies are designed, each output power is 8 kW, with paralel to each other a total 30 kW output power is given. The detailed circuit is given and the analysis is made.
