| Abstract: | Based on Hellinger Reissner energy functions and with the inclusion of higher order incompatible dynamic displacement modes, a general formulation of incompatible finite dyna mic element is developed. Furthermore, a correspondent convergence criterion is derived and numercally tested. All exhibit remarkable characteristic behavior with enhanced computational accuracy and easy to implement in dynamic structural analysis. |
