| Abstract: | There is strong relationship between the development of the modern international airport and the development of airport surrounding area's economy.With the New Baiyun International Airport built in Huadu, it must impact on Huadu's economy deeply. Analysing the situation of New Baiyun Airport and Huadu's economic development, this article points out New Baiyun Airport's impact on Huadu's economic development in four aspects:one, making it the distributing center of huge funds, stream of people, logistics and information; second, promoting Huadu's infrastructure to get further improved; third, upgrading changing and optimizing industrial structure; fourth, strengthening the economic contact between Huadu and Guangzhou, thus accelerating the urbanization process. It also prints out some development strategies about how to use the superiority to develop the local economy,which will provide some scientific reference to the local government. |
