| Abstract: | The prodiginine antibiotics exhibit antitumor and immunosuppressive activity. In this issue of Chemistry & Biology, Reynolds and coworkers demonstrate that new prodiginines can be obtained by substituting a FabH ketosynthase for the RedP ketosynthase in the undecylprodiginine biosynthetic gene cluster. |
