| Abstract: | A novel and facile domino reaction has been developed to synthesize a variety of polysubstituted 4-aminopyridines from α-azidovinylketones, aldehydes and methylamine derivatives in reasonably good yields under mild conditions. Additionally, a possible mechanism is proposed. |
