Standard thermodynamic functions of complexation between copper(II) and glycine and L-histidine in aqueous solutions

Abstract:The Cu2+–glycine–L-histidine system is studied calorimetrically at 298.15 K and an ionic strength of 0.2, 0.5, and 1.0 in aqueous solutions containing potassium nitrate. The standard thermodynamic parameters (ΔrH°, ΔrG°, ΔrS°) of complexation processes are determined.
