Rapid Determination of Total Mercury in Rice and Its Plant Organs and Environmental Soil

In order to get the total mercury content of rice,the plant organs and the environmental soil those series related samples quickly,the method detection limit,precision,quality control standard substance and standard recovery of the instrument were measured by direct mercury analyzer,a rapid method was developed for the determination of total mercury in rice,plant organs and soil those series related samples.The pyrolysis temperature of the instrument was optimized and 40 s at 650℃was the best and the best release temperature is 900℃;it is verified that liquid or solid standard material as external standard curve has no influence on sample detection results;the detection limit of the instrument was determined to be 0.13μg/kg;the relative standard deviation(RSD)of the three measurements is between 0.60%and 6.6%;the quality control standard substances measurement values are within the range of the standard certificate values;the recoveries were between 90.7%—108%.The test results show that the direct mercury analyzer can measure the total mercury content rapidly and accurately in the grain,plant organs,soil environment of the rice this series of related samples under the premise of free chemical pre-treatment of the sample.Especially for the series of samples with high mercury content,the detection has a significant advantage,which significantly reduces the memory effect of mercury and greatly shortens the period of acquiring test data.
