| 摘 要： | 从英语语调结构和信息结构理论出发,揭示了英语调核位置的选择主要是根据整个语调组的信息中心--主要信息或新信息在哪里而确定的,并进一步阐述了影响调核位置的因素:语言的上下文关系、讲话时的情景、心理因素(包括联想和习惯因素,以及情感状态).

| Abstract: | Viewed from the structures of English intonation and information theory,the paper reveals that the placement of English nucleus is decided by the information center of the tone-group,namely,the whereabouts of the main or new information.Several factors affecting the placement of nucleus are also discussed,among them are linguistic context,speaking situation and psychological factors including association,habits and emotive state. |
