| Abstract: | Bis(trifluoromethyl)nitroxyl gives oxidative addition products with (CF3)2PX (X = F, Cl, Br and CN). With (CF3(2PI, iodine is eliminated to afford (CF3)2NOP(CF3)2. Mechanisms for the reactions are proposed and discussed, and spectral data of new compounds presented. |
