Abstract: | Electrical conductivities of [XeF2.MF5] and [XeF2.2MF5] (M = Sb, Ta, Nb) have been measured. These, together with viscosity measurements on [XeF2.SbF5], which has the highest specific conductivity, leads to a value of the order of 11% for the degree of dissociation of the compounds near their melting points. |
