| Abstract: | 3‐Iodoindole N‐carboximidamides and N‐carboximidoates 4 were prepared regioselectively via a sequential aza‐Wittig/iodine induced cyclization, starting from easily accessible 2‐alkynylphenyl iminophosphorane, isocyanates, various nucleophiles and iodine. |
