The effect of spin-orbit coupling upon elastic collisions between alkali atoms |

| Abstract: | Within the framework of helicity formalism we discuss the scattering between alkali atoms at thermal energies, taking account of the spin orbit interaction. Polarised cross sections show some small spin effect, unpolarised cross sections remain almost unchanged. |
