| Abstract: | Theγ-angular correlation of osmium is measured after Coulomb-excitation with 30 MeV16O ions. The recoiling nuclei are implanted into a magnetized iron substrate. The fit of the perturbated angular correlation gives the valueB=?800±200 kG for the internal field at the sites of osmium atoms dissolved in an iron host. |
