Stereoselective total synthesis of cryptopyranmoscatone A1 |

| Abstract: | The first total synthesis of cryptopyranmoscatone A1 isolated from Cryptocarya moschata has been accomplished from 3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-d-glucal. In addition to the RCM and cross-metathesis (CM) reactions, the synthesis features a highly diastereoselective Brown’s allylation reaction and sets the absolute stereochemistry of the natural product. |
