| Abstract: | Phosgene and benzoxazolin-2-one in the presence of diethylaniline gives benzoxazolin-2-one-3-carbonyl chloride. The latter and aliphatic alcohols, in the presence of a hydrogen chloride acceptor, gives esters of benzoxazolin-2-one-3-carboxylic acid. |
