| Abstract: | A derivative of (+)-(E)-4-phenylbut-3-ene-2-ol is shown by X-ray crystallography to be of (R) configuration, confirming the assumption in the literature that the absolute configuration of (+)-(E)-4-phenylbut-3-ene-2-ol is (R). |
