| Abstract: | The solid solutions Sr3?xLaxMn2O7 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1.50) and Sr3?xLnxMn2O7 (Ln = Nd, Sm, Gd; 0 ≤ x ≤ 1.40) with Sr3Ti2O7-type structure have been prepared. Their cell parameters and ratios are related to the size of the rare earths and to the Mn3+ ion concentration. |
