| Abstract: | Conclusions The reaction of 2-methyl-3,5-heptadiyn-2-ol with -glycols in the presence of alkaline catalysts results in the formation of 1,3-dioxolanes, while -glycols give ethynylvinyl ethers which contain a hydroxyl group in the alkoxy residue.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 3, pp. 586–588, March, 1972. |
