| Abstract: | Pt/SiO2 catalysts prepared by impregnation and sol-gel method from a platinum acetylacetonate precursor have been studied. The pH was varied in the range of 3–9. Important changes in the surface area and pore distribution were found. High metal dispersity was found in all the catalysts, being lower at pH 9. |
