| Abstract: | Basic ideas of negative refractive index metamaterials were introduced.Then proposed negative refractive index structure were discussed,such as split ring resonator(SRR),photonic crystals and distributed L-C networks that these materials may hold for realizing new and seemingly exotic electromagnetic phenomena,and recent advances in metamaterials research were given.Its application and prospect such as new science and RF/microwave passive devices were given. |
