Polarization fourier transform infrared spectroscopy |

| Abstract: | Some Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic studies with linearly and circularly polarized radiation are reported. They were all carried out by means of the differential technique, consisting in the comparison of two single-channel spectra of opposite polarization. Thus, linear dichroic or circular dichroic spectra with positive and negative bands were recorded. Typical application examples of both techniques are presented. |
