Abstract:CdS nanoparticles with sizes where a quantum-size effect is observed are structurally characterized in a detailed way. The following complex of structural methods is used to characterize the nanoparticles: electron diffraction; analytical, diffraction, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy; and small-angle X-ray scattering.
