| Abstract: | We summarize data published over the last five years on the approaches and methods used in the synthesis of magnetic adsorbents based on iron oxide nanoparticles. A classification of magnetic adsorbents is proposed; examples of their use in the magnetic solid-phase extraction of organic compounds in the analysis of environmental samples, food, and biological fluids are given. |
