| Abstract: | In this article we study certain functional equations and systems of functional equations related to (generalized) derivations on semiprime rings. In particular, we prove that any generalized Jordan triple derivation on a 2- torsion free semiprime ring is a generalized derivation. We also prove that any (generalized) Jordan triple *-derivation on a 2-torsion free semiprime *-ring is a (generalized) Jordan *-derivation.
